Normalize building one's networth instead of draining it.

Image
Yayyy, so I didn't drain my bank account for a MacBook instead bought a new Asus laptop that's efficient enough for my purpose.  Will the Facebook family accept me?  P.S.: Normalize building one's networth instead of draining it.  I wrote this post to bash out against the over-hyped posts about Apple products or iPhone products and their vitality. It was against some people not against the product who buy the MacBook and iPhone just for the sake of going viral, since the trend is solid. There are so many such posts that I come across everyday on Facebook that ofcourse like you I was fed up, so I wrote a sarcastic post. I wasn't speaking against Apple products and as said many people didn't get the sarcasm but that's not my headache, I feel bad for them Regarding the networth part, I quoted one of Ruth kazembe'  statement wherein draining networth can be simply referred to going after wants rather than needs. She referred it to explain the situation how youn...

START-UPS ARE HARD

2 years ago I joined a 20-person group discussion about start-up. I wanted to learn more and this event was for two week. Now our was about to raise the capital of about over $10,000 and has 35+  members Here's what I've learnt about succeeding at a startup: 1) Startups are HARD.  The work has never been done before, so you will constantly feel like you have no idea what you're doing.  And you might not.  This is uncomfortable, especially if you're a perfectionist.  2) There's a massive amount of UNCERTAINTY: Do we have product / market fit? Where will our growth come from? Will we get enough funding to keep going?  3) A great founder will challenge you constantly. Our group leaders always asked the one question that no one anticipated.  It stretches me to think "what am I missing?"  It stretches me more to accept that sometimes I'll miss a key idea, and that's okay. 4) The leadership team's values are INCREDIBLY important The less ego at th...

STOP THE MISCONCEPTIONS AND FALSE PREACHING ABOUT WOMAN VAGINITY

Image
STOP THE MISCONCEPTIONS AND FALSE PREACHING ABOUT WOMAN VAGINITY A woman's hymen can not tell you much about her virginity. Stop depending on it to judge if she's a virgin or not. If he judge virginity based on the intact of the hymen🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 The hymen is a membrane covering the vagina opening. Its shape and size varies in people. It normally doesn't cover the vaginal opening completely to allow discharges/menstrual flow to pass through. If imperfonate (covers vagina completely), surgery is done to open it up a bit In many cultures, however, people believe that once a woman's hymen is torn, she's been "disvirgined' They also believe that when a woman is deflowered, she must bleed from the vagina to show that her hymen has broken (which proves her virginity). In most cases, both are false! Here's why: 1. Not all women are born with hymens. Nearly 1 in 2000 females don't develop a hymen at all, which means their vagina is naturally open. So what di...

THE DEATH OF DTSV PREMIUM

Image
The death of DStv Premium MultiChoice’s DStv Premium product faces a massive threat as many of its international providers are closing their content distribution pipelines and moving their movies and shows to their own streaming services. This is according to South African broadcasting analyst Thinus Ferreira, who recently spoke to MyBroadband about the future of the top-end package. Ferreira warned that many major content providers could give DStv the boot in the coming years when their respective content deals with MultiChoice expire. “WarnerMedia, Disney, Discovery, ViacomCBS, NBCUniversal, and British content funnels are in the process of being taken away from DStv subscribers,” Ferreira said. BBC and ITV recently launched their BritBox streaming service in South Africa, featuring some of the content no longer available on DStv, after it cut certain channels provided by the popular UK broadcasters. Disney+ is also set to launch in South Africa next year, which should see DStv lose ...

Economist Takes Zambia from Default to Investor Darling Zambia’s new president, Hakainde Hichilema, is turning the nation’s economic fortunes around barely a week into the job. The southern African nation’s currency and dollar bonds have surged to become the world’s best performers since he was announced the winner of Aug. 12 elections.  His pick of economist Situmbeko Musokotwane as finance minister has gone down well with investors, as have his pronouncements that he’ll speedily conclude a financing deal with the International Monetary Fund and court foreign investment.  Zambians have grown used to bad news in recent years.  Production of copper, which accounts for more than 70% of export earnings, stagnated as the government clashed with mining companies. The kwacha currency depreciated from 5.10 to the dollar at the end of 2011 to a record low 22.68 this year. Annual inflation reached almost 25% in July, the highest level in nearly two decades. The change in pow...
