WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR A LIVING? THIS IS A DECEMBER QUESTION.

 Exactly that time of the year where you question yourself about the journey you decided to take. You should remember all our family wants for us is safety and financial security.

Entrepreneurship has nothing to do with that. 

This is when you get scared to go home. That's because you don't want to answer alot of questions. 

The major question would be. *" What are you now doing for a living:?* 

Then how do you answer that. If you know very well that you sold bags the business didn't work out then you went for clothes then you started a chicken dust business which is not yet even profitable yet and a number of small hustle.  

At this stage you're a beginner in the field on Entrepreneurship yes a biggies maybe  with 3 years experience. 

How do you answer your aunt or uncle at the Christmas party when they ask you what Exactly are you doing for a  living. 

To top that up. There will be relatives younger than you who will always be used as axamples. Your family is deeply concerned about you. 

What you need to do is simply take more risk till you prove them wrong. 

I've opened up businesses in the most dangerous countries,  I've employed very dangerous people, put my health at risk many times. Simply because I wanted to prove them wrong so bad that I actually won at the end. 

For four years I haven't heard a relative telling me to look for a job. All they tell me is that they wish they were their own boss like me. 

On Sunday when they all leaving I stay behind for three more days. I tell them I can stay anywhere and wake up anytime.  Because I'm my own boss.

I've inspired some of them to start businesses. 

If I had succumbed to that pressure today I'd be a MD and you wouldn't even know I existed. 


Persistent is what matters most. Be strong. The only voice you should be listening to is your inner voice. No one has it all figured out..

Take the path less chosen. Be fearless of the unknown. 

Prove them wrong by any means necessary.

  There's nothing more draining than dating someone with a fixed mindset when you're an entrepreneur. I was once in a relationship with a police officer. She was pretty that attracted me to her and I thought she was more ambitious since she was working. The problem was that she had a fixed mindset. She was a robotick thinker.
